sorry guys, wasn't able to get back on til now.

had to sacrifice max for the good of the family.

traded him for two cars.

that makes twice now that i have lost a beloved car to the good of the family. of course, i fail to see how the first time was for the good of the family.

It happens. Cars are fun, but they are still just things-not people. Investing in people gives more satisfaction in the long run. IMO
Nothing wrong with owning a fine automobile when it fits life priorities. Again, IMO.
