Default Small Apartment Moving Challenges

Hi everyone! I am moving out of a tiny third-floor walk-up and I am worried about the narrow stairs. My sofa barely fit when I moved in. Does anyone have experience with difficult apartment moves? I don't want to damage the walls or my furniture.

I have lived in some tiny Boston apartments, so I know exactly what you are dealing with. Those narrow staircases are no joke. For my last move, I hired Boston moving company Flash Moving https://www.flashmoving.net/ because they are experts at navigating tight spaces. They used special padding for the banisters and wrapped my couch so it wouldn't get scuffed. They handle commercial and residential moves in the city all the time, so they know all the tricks for difficult layouts. My advice is to measure everything twice and take the legs off your furniture before the movers arrive. It saves a lot of time and prevents those awkward stuck-in-the-hallway moments. Don't try to do it with friends because you really need professional equipment and experience for those steep stairs.
