I'd be interested too if it had a Title. A bill of sale here wouldn't get me a thing but funny looks at the DMV.

I first saw those in Germany in 2001. I considered buying one if we were going to be there a little while longer. I wouldn't buy it here though. Getting it serviced could be more of a nightmare than you can imagine. It certainly would have "awe" value, but then it would have "awe sh$t' value when you need any basic parts. I'd pass on the bid.

Isn't that the truth though?

repairman1, if you want an automatic diesel Mercedes...one that's closer to home, I'll sell you my 190D with 80k on it. Just make an offer, it's in better shape then that 2001 is.

Hey i got a 300sdl for sale more miles but the 603.960engine was the best diesel made.

Mine's got a chrome avantagarde S600 grille, clear corners and European head lights. Very striking, you should see how many heads turn...


80k miles, 2.2L

New times call for new updates, plus the inline 4 gets 37 mpg on average.

Previously owned by a mechanic, the bottom is coated with lining to prevent rusting, very clean engine department
