Why are the bad guys in Iraq (the supposed supporters of Saddam) killing and terrorizing his defense lawyers to the point where 1,100 have withdrawn from his defense team? It may slow down the trial, but he won't have any lawyers when his trial starts. Those bad guys don't seem too sharp.

And besides all that, can you imagine having 1,100 lawyers defending you? It's not like Saddam will ever pay them, but can you also imagine getting a bill from 1,100 lawyers?
