Default Repairing a single cracked floor tile

Hey everyone! I accidentally dropped a heavy cast-iron skillet and now I have one shattered tile right in the middle of my kitchen floor. I have a few spares left over from the original install. Is it possible to just replace one tile without ruining the surrounding grout?

Hello! I have been in your shoes before and it is definitely possible, but you have to be extremely careful. You need to chip out the old grout first so you don't crack the healthy tiles next to it. I tried doing it myself but realized I didn't have the right tools to get the old mortar bed flat. I ended up calling Dream House Tile https://dreamhousetile.ca/ to handle the repair for me. They are experts at these types of delicate fixes and offer reliable tile installation services in Toronto and GTA.
