Production of Mercedes-Benz A-Class could stop

Although the Mercedes-Benz A-Class has been sold in almost 1,5 million units since its introduction in 1977, Mercedes is thinking to drop the production of the model. This was reported by the German newspaper WirtschaftsWoche but Mercedes didnâ€™t confirm the news yet.A Mercedes-Benz spokesman said that was speculation and declined further comment.

The A-Class isn't bad but it's probably worth eliminating.

Not always a bad thing to eliminate older models, especially if sales are declining. You also have to think that cutting the A-class would free up some man hours to devote to new cars / projects.
