Here's one of my pet fish. She's a Naso tang, and has lived in the living room tank for the last five years.

Are you sure you're not thinking of a triggerfish? The triggerfish have been known to take a chomp out of people. And you ARE in their ocean! LOL
This gentle surgeonfish/tang will eat out of my hand, waits for me to get home, will allow me to pet her, and participates in cleaning when I clean her tank.

Hmm...yeah, maybe your right now that I just looked at a picture of a triggerfish. But come on...the ocean is a BIG place.
