Everything seems upside down. We are more worried about the rights of trespassers than those trespassed. They fly the Mexican flag ABOVE ours, on our land? That is an act of war! A Colorado school banned American flags being displayed because it offends Mexicans. Americans may take up arms against this invasion. Can you blam US?

Yeah, I don't understand how illegal aliens can come here and demand rights by demonstrating, and get away with it. It's really odd. They should be jailed and deported. But there are too many.

The Colorado school banned American AND Mexican flags. Mexican students were using the Mexican flag to protest the proposed immigration laws and the American students were using the American flag to protest against the Mexican students. Some violence broke out, so the principal banned all flags saying the students were exhibiting "misguided patriotism." [PUKE] Apparently, the principal believes it's the flags' fault.

Silly American students actually showing love for their country in the face of our enemy. Shame on them! Next, He will force mandatory Spanish education for all non-Hispanics, so they can understand and sympathize with the invaders. I am going to buy more ammo.

I think that was done years ago when being PC was becoming popular.

For me, I have traveled extensively in Mexico and enjoyed meeting many people and learned a lot while traveling. But, I used as much spanish as I knew and learned a little more which was accepted by everyone I came in contact with. I see groups of prople LIVING in the USA expecting to live the same way they did in Mexico. That is just wrong. If they wanted to be USA citizens, they should act like it.

Yeah, Mexican children come to America to learn about Mexico and to keep Mexican traditions alive. Not providing this opportunity would be insensitive of Americans.

What about St Patrick's day or halloween? Both were brought over from europe and kids still are able to share them in school around here.

I guess I misunderstood you?

I thought you were saying we all speak American English all the time. That's not true in our schools. Students learn and speak their native language instead of English where there's a predominance of foreign students, legal or otherwise. English is often taught as a second language in these schools, even though there are American students who don't speak the foreign language.

Heck, then there's Ebonics.
