Hey guys

i have a question. I just recently bought an 08 W221 S550 and the iPod intergration cord in the glovebox seems to not be working i.e. No power running to it. I bought a Bovee tune2air to stream music and when plugged into 30 pin intergration cord I get no power to Bovee unit?? Is there a fuse to check first before I replace cord? And if I have to replace the actual intergration cord where can I find it? I'm sure I can go to dealer but wanted to check here first! Thanks for any and all help!!

Hello D and welcome to the forum! Are you wanting the Ipod to display the songs/titles on the screen (if your car has a screen) or are you just wanting to have them play and display is not important? If you're just wanting to play the tracks, you can use an AUX cable straight into the Ipod. Let me know if this makes sense to you and if you have any questions!

 

Yeah, it's pretty easy if you only want to play tracks though if you want to synchronize your screen it may be a tad harder. I will ask my friend from DSRLeasing if he managed to do this in his new car as he was bragging something about using ipod in the car.
