Guarantee when buying auto parts
I don't know if this is supposed to be the case, but when I bought my mirrors as parts for my car, I was told that if there was anything wrong with them, I could return them within 14 days of purchase. Is there a warranty when buying auto parts? Or is this my fantasy?
Am I to understand that you have just been quoted the Consumer Rights Act? Usually, if it's a good store, they offer a warranty on their parts. I bought an exterior door handle for my Toyota at t1aauto.com yesterday and they gave me a warranty card along with the receipt. It stated that I could use the repair under the manufacturer's warranty for 2 years, the store itself offers such an opportunity for 3 years. I don't think I'll need it, but it's still a nice gesture of attention to me as a customer.
