ha ha Gen. useless. I sometimes think of it like that when I see what some of these young people do with themselves and their lives. I didnt have half of the opportunities some of these kids are given today and even with things made so easy(The Internet) they still manage to copy and paste their entire essays and hand it in and try and call it "their work" Oh yes its true it just happined last week in theHistory class that I need for my degree.

The thing is I have always had a passion for acting and have been told by many that I am good at it. I just never acted on it. Not saying I could have lived a better life. I have done most of what I have dreamed of doing. I just feel with a College Education I could of had it all at a younger age
Are you nearing an associates or bachelors? What I've learned from a continuing college education is it's completely subjective, where as a majority of highschool is objective. As long as you canassert your point ina college class like ethics or any english class, you're golden. Even with math you can use what you already know to get an answer, where there are multiple ways of getting the same thing. Overall it boosts confidence, intelligence and sharpness.

one after us might as well be gen useless.
hahaha, isn't that God's honest truth! Something very bad happened right after gen Y, but perhaps we are a part of the problem and don't even know it? Some of these kids are using slang and abbreviation lingo (ie: lol, lmk, ftw, etc) on school paperwork, which is just incredible. Others are having a tough time understanding basic algebra, so it has to be broken into a part A and part B class that's twice as long to take.

Tell me about it. When my son was in High School about 2 years ago he got in trouble for using what they call "AIM talk" thats the lol and jk and all them lingo words in his essay. I think he used "IMHO" I think that means In my honest opinion. I think he spent too much time on the computer Senior Year.

Well as a kid when I graduated High School took College classes, worked, sent over seas and came back and started to invest into realestate and stocks while working at Ford Motor Co. I eventually started buying and selling yearly and in 1980 I got into the wholesale flower buisness(Son runs it now) and My wife opened her own hair/tanning salon. Still I havnt finished College and for the past couple years I hae been going back. Now I am only 10credits away from graduating. I just made my schedule today and I have to take an acting class as an elective. The thing is I have always had a passion for acting and have been told by many that I am good at it. I just never acted on it. Not saying I could have lived a better life. I have done most of what I have dreamed of doing. I just feel with a College Education I could of had it all at a younger age. Going back to school later in life isn’t easy, especially when you’re juggling family, business, and everything else. Some classes — especially math — were tough to get back into after so many years away. What helped me was using https://overchat.ai/math/homework-solver. It’s a great tool that breaks things down in simple steps, and honestly made math feel way more approachable for someone like me who hadn't opened a textbook in decades.
Thank you for sharing your story — it’s truly inspiring. It’s so cool to see that despite your success in business, family, and life in general, you still haven’t forgotten about your dream and are eager to finish what you once started. Not many people are willing to go back to school after years, especially with such a rich path behind them.

Acting classes are a great opportunity not only to pay off a loan, but also to discover a new side of yourself. Especially if you’ve always had a passion for this — why not give it a try? Who knows, maybe this is another facet of your potential waiting to shine. In any case, a diploma is not just a piece of paper, but a symbol of a completed stage, and you are very close to it. Good luck to you on this final stretch!
