I have a house in Venice Florida and I am NY state resident. I am looking to purchase a car to keep down therebut my question is how long in the state of Florida can you keep a car on inscurance? becasue I am only down there about once a year for a month. Would I be able to put it on and when I leave after a month take the car off the road?

 

I think you might be able to because you can claim it's in storage or something. And then just give them prior notice that you want it insurance for the month(s) you'r down there.

 

I hope you are right.That is a good idea. I have herd that in Florida you need to inscure a car for at least 6 months? Is that true?
