i have a relative respect for anyone who puts time and effort into theit vehicle to make it more appealing to themselves...individuality.

but ill still laugh at the car behind their back if it looks silly!

I must not be a "car enthusiast" like you.

I think modified Toyotas are weenie rice cars. I think the drivers/owners are idiots (maybe rice crispies) and their cars are rice.

I think whatever you do to a Yugo, it'll still be a piece of **** Yugo.

I don't respect inanimate objects. How does one do that, anyway?

i didnt say that i respect the vehicle, i respect the fact that someone cares enough to go through the trouble..although often it looks dumb.

I understood what you said and I agree. No need to explain. My post was directed at SLK320Chic. She said she respects cars, even a Yugo if it's driven by the right person.

Lugnut, you're thinking entirely too much into the subject here. My point is, I will respect ANY car that is tastefully done. Whether it be by engine modifications or strictly show. As long as it doesn't look or be half- as*ed, they get my thumbs up. I agree with Patrick when he said "i have a relative respect for anyone who puts time and effort into theit vehicle to make it more appealing to themselves..."

And I thought you were being a bit too serious. You're profound, deep and soul searching thoughts on this subject were making me giggle (like a man, of course).

Here, I'll get serious about this subject just so you can see that I can. Whenever I start my Chevelle, every Toyota within a half-block radius gets sucked into its intake. Nothing but fried rice and shredded decals get spit out of the exhaust. Actually, I don't know if the decals are shredded or if they're decals with Japanese print characters. I can't read Japanese.

BTW, Patrick doesn't respect the cars. Me neither. Patrick won't respect a Yugo driver. Me neither. You've been missing the points.

Well, I will keep my opinion on the matter, just as you will keep yours. I made my point, you made yours.

Haha, going to race some Toyotas. Just kidding. I have to go to my 2nd job...bartending that is. I still haven't gotten my car out of the shop yet. The catalytic converters didn't come in the mail on Saturday...the next shipment isn't in until tomorrow. (Tuesday.) So, I have to wait until Wednesday to get my car back. I miss her so much. I haven't had her for a week now.
