W124 A/C problem

W124 A/C problem
Car: 1988 300TE
Problem: AC works fine when outside temps in the low 70's compressor engages and Radiator fan comes on, when in the mid 80's it stops after
a few minutes. I suspecting a Temp sensor, an experts opinion would be appreciated.
