Hi guys, I just bought a 2002 c230 kompressor. I bought this car on a whim and is my first non-ford vehicle. I have a 600hp 01 mustang bullitt that I drag race. I love this car, but am a little intimidated after looking under the hood and thru the owners manuel. I do most of the work on my cars and would like to with this one, but I can't even figure out where the oil filter is on this thing. How hard is this car to service for the do-it-yourselfer? Where can I purchase a service manuel for this car?

 

Welcome to the Forum bullitt!! You'll find lots of helpful folks here! Your next stop should be the C Class forum to pose your questions. You'll get answers much quicker there. As for the manual...Ebay is a good place to find a service manual, but beware of some that are not user friendly and cheap copies. You may get lucky, or you can be sure to get what you need at your local dealer and get the manual from them, should be around $100 of so. Your choice.
