Hello All,
I am looking for some help please, I have 2 problems, the first one is that I have a Mercedes c200 CDI Year 2004.
All of a sudden the window wipers have stopped working completely and the water button is not working on this either Has anybody got any ideas on this problem ?
Problem number 2 is I am getting a message that the bonnet is open when I start up the car, but it is not ? I would appreciate anybodys comments thanks

 

you have a bad hood switch. if it thinks the hood is open the wipers will not work! the hood switch is under the hood latch on the radiator cross member, usually on the left side. youll see a silver metal piece that contacts the hood latch when the hood is closed. you have to remove the hood latch and remove the hood switch and replace it. easy fix.
