AAR ..Appreciate your advice, your theory about the insurance company, makes a lot fo sense ..I'm still considering my options, and weighing the risk ...your are so right about the 'ignorance' part ..not sure if there can be a way for me to verify the claim that the car hasn't had any problem since he bought it a year ago from state farm .. if the car really had 10k miles on it in the past year with no issues (after the water damage) then this should be a positive sign ..

To add to the 'ignorance' part, the seller didn't know many of the car features he has even though he drove for close to year ...again, this might be as AAR said too good to be true, OR one of these chances u will feel sorry if u pass up (this is easy 10K below dealer price for same car)

 

i'm a AUTO ELECTRICIAN and you will never know when or where components or moduls or and elictrical equiptment will fail its just one of things yes they are mostly electrical and not that expensive when you have someone that doesnt spend days on end trying to find a simple little thing if you know the car it just takes someone that knows the car and how it operates for intince the rear lights have a module whick i need help on because i cant locate where on the vehicle it is situated but the rear reverse light are individually controlled along with all the light if 1 supply fails the module will take a source from somewhere else to power it untill it is repaired very clever cars way advanced in technology than most vehicles.
