hey there, im a repair shop owner, and import car lover. a good friend of mine gave me a 71 250 that i did a head on 10 years ago. it's been sittin for 8, yes 8 years. outside. 65k original miles the car is beautiful even though outside for so long. it was in the woods. anyway, could someone point me in the right direction as far as forums go? am i on the wrong site for this car? im restoring completely, and i want it to be my shop logo car, and the car i pick up my weekend daughter with. any help, thanx.

yeah your right. the kids in my hood all drive 3 and 5 series beems or a freakin tahoe. any way, i apologise for the misunderstanding, it did seem like (as i re read) that i cam off snobbish and immature myself, but i assure you my friend i am an ase master certified tech, ase advanvced level specialist, wa st emmission certified shop owner with over 20 years of fixing cars and i'm a plethera of information. i came from an import shop in kirkland, where iv'e changed parts on mercedes you probably din't know even exhisted. i was given this old bird by a good friend and i like it. my honda runs 13 sec quaters, looks stock and gets 30 mpg. and i haul wood and transmissions in it! i really want to make this car (71 250 65kmiles) my shop logo car and cust shuttle, and i don't have any money, so i was having to do lots of research when i stumbled upon this site. it was the only one that was really free.
