Hello, I'm new to the forum and hopefully soon to be a MB owner. I am looking to buy a pre-owned MB E320 or E500 soon but am not sure if this is where I should jump in as a new owner. I welcome any and all advice or suggestions. I am not sure if it will be an everyday car and I am also considering an extended warranty since I am not mechanically gifted.

I dont believe in extended warranties. I recomend not getting the warranty and just take the money that you were going to spend on it and place it in a high-yield savings account and take the money out of there for any repairs that would have been covered by the warranty and when the warranty is up bet will be that you will have money left over. Also never get repairs done at the Dealership buy parts offine and get a small shop that specializes in German cars to perform them.
