New member, doing some research
Basically I live in Las Vegas and commute to Orange County 1.5-2 times a month for roughly 600 miles each trip.
I wanted to keep the miles off my primary car and was looking for something reliable and fairly cheap that would run forever ideally without leaving me stranded in the middle of the desert (hurray for AAA just in case).
A couple people from the Legacy GT forums (my primary car currently is a 2005 Subaru Legacy GT) I frequent recommended a MBZ Diesel.

Ideally trying to find something under $3,000 so I guess we'll find out if it's possible.
The turbo diesels sound nice as I'd like to get over the mountains inbetween here and there without much problem.
