Hi Everyone,
I am new here, infact this is my first post
and looking for some advise.
Some background:
I came across an ebay listing of 1995 E320 with 75K miles on it. As its from EBay, I also could see AutoChek and records looks clean, was repainted a year back and has 2 owners. Buyer is asking for ~$4100. I am going to check the vehicle in person in next couple of days and also thinking of getting it checked at Benz Service in case I decide to move forward.
Now, I have never owned Merc till date, and honestly speaking I am very tempted for this one mainly its within my budget but I am bit skeptical about buying 17yr old vehicle. So Looking for some advice/feedback where this deal make sense and if you forsee any issues in buying an such a old model
Thanks and looking forward to your help

I Purchased a 1997 E320 a year ago with 100kmi on it It was a rebuild.
They did a pretty good job of fixing it but I had to go around and push a couple of leaky vacuum lies back together. The driver's door controls are not recognized by the main computer so the outside mirror controls do not work correctly, the seat controls are backwards, The steering wheel does not adjust, and the driver's door lock does not work with the rest of them.
Apparently it is a gray market car so the dealer will not even look at in unless it is accompanied by a $600 dollar bill.
Runs great otherwise and is delivering approximately 25mpg over all.
I needed a brake job and it was accomplished on all 4 wheels and 2 hours for less than $100 compared to $1100 at the dealer.
I do all of my own maintenance. I would be interested in getting the CD with the computer info so I can do the debuggin myself. I am very computer savvy and have done assembler programming for decades (4).
Owner also of an 83 300SD, an 84 300SD (rebuilding engine), an 86 190E, and an 84 300TD. All with more than 300kmi.
