Recently returned to the Mercedes family with the purchase of 1974 450Sl that was not running so I'm currently repairing it. It is a real challenge as are my other cars (86,87,89,90,91XJ6 and 72,75,79 Fiat 124's oh and my wifes 92 Saab 900s) Yes I am a glutten for punishment! After service in 1970 I had a 58 190Sl and a 61 190Sl and throughly enjoyed,but had to sell as I was in the family mode and the 2 seater wasn't practical for a father and returning to school student, boy did I make a mistake. Now I'm a retired teacher looking forward to getting it on the road this summer. If anyone knows of good places to find used parts please let me know, also where can one find an interchangeable parts listing? Thanks ron
