Hey there just introducing myself, Im from sydney Australia. Couldn't find any Australian Based Merc forums.

I am currently annoyed at the reliablility of my current car, 2002 BA Xr6 turbo falcon. The problem is i have modded the hell out of it and things seem to be breaking things too often thus leaving me carless.

I wasn't really planning on buying another car for about 2 years but I might buy something secondhand inbetween. I am thinking 2001-2003 CLK320 or CLK500 but would like to do some minor engine work so its a little more powerful but don't want to go to the extent as i have with my current car. What sort of minor mods being done befor strengthening the transmission etc is needed.

I like the CLK500 but there aren't many up for sale out this way.

Just wanting a good car to tie me over for a few years until im ready to buy my next car (either CLK500 or BMW M3 V8 when its out.)
