I have happened upon a 1947 170V German Staff car that has been restored and then left to un-restore. Engine (all original) still runs and the car still drives. Other than some minor cosmetic and some detailing this baby is like new!! Although the restoration put her in a 2-tone Burgundy and Khaki with the exterior roof covered in Khaki leather looking liner and the wheels painted Burgundy to match the car, WHAT HAVE I FOUND?? Is this a gold mine or is it just another Antique Mercedes? She believes that there was one other like it in Texas that was parted out on Ebay as told so by a friend. Is this a one of a kind in the states? I can get more info for you if I know what I need to tell you about it.. Let me know, thanks guys!!

 

I cant see how this would actually be a **** Staff car if it was built post-war in 1947, as the war was over in 1945. Two years before this car was built..
