Hi - I'm new to the forum - just posted to 2 other sections - newbies & tech - now trying here too.
I've found a 170D in Thailand. At least I think it's a 170D diesel. How to I/D it positively ? What are the pointers to look out for ?
If it really IS a 170D - then what are the good versus bad points. It's been sitting around for 15 - 20 years or so.
What price should I expect to pay for one in top condition (which this one is not !) and below average ?
And if this is the wrong forum to post these questions - sorry about that - is there a classics Mercdges forum somewhere ?
