Greetings. I am new to the forum and currently am shopping for a low mileage S Class between the years of 2012 and 2015. I have owned Mercedes before. I had a 1969 280 SE that my parents gave me as wedding gift many years ago and I kept it for 18 years. I had a 1998 SL500 which I bought new for my wife, and sold after she passed away in 2011, I also had a 1998 S500 that was left to me when my dad passed away in 2006, and he also had a 1984 500 SEC that was left to me that was his "play car" and I kept both until 2011.

Somehow, I strayed away and since 2011 have been driving Lexus cars and BMW's. (the BMW was a horrible experience)

I like the design of the S550 a lot, but wanted to ask if anyone has had any experience with the model years between 2012 and 2015?

I am regretfully giving up on trying to repair/restore my 1971 6.3. It has been garaged for many years. Maybe someone else has the time and money to get it back on the road. If not, it would make a good parts car. I am seeking $5,000.00 for it "as is/where is". I can provide photos, VIN info, etc. to interested parties
