I am a newbie here. Hope to gain some knowledge in this forum.

Here's my problem. I have a 2001 E320 sedan, it started with low battery so I could not start the car. My husband charged it, it ran for 2 days and it died again. My husband checked the water in battery is very low, so he added water thinking that might be the problem. He charged the car and ran for two days, now it died again. Could we have a battery problem? We think we had a new battery may be a (or two) year ago (with a Mercedes people came to the house to replaced it)

could be the alternator since the battery was replaced 2 years ago. battery is most likely good but it could be that the alternator is not charging the battery.
