Hi All
Have my dads 77 450sl 80,000 mile car. Silver and red , nice car but has a odd Transmission leak. Posted in the tech forum what is going on. But it leaks about a cup after sitting a few months , nothing then one day a spot under the car, clean it up then same thing nothing for a while then another spot. Any ideas?

Hi Rich and welcome to the forum! If the car is leaking just a tad after sitting; it may be because of a seal or gasket that has expanded sitting over time. How does the car drive in general? Is it leaking enough to where you notice the fluid below its minimum? Lastly, I'm attaching a link to our site's DIY tech articles on the R107 platform.
