Hi, everyone. I have recently joined the ranks of MB owners...I love it!! I just purchased a '93 300D 2.5 with 178K, in very good shape. I've been driving it a week, and am amazed at how great this car drives. It is so steady on the road, with no rattles or shakes, it tracks incredibly well, rolls over bumps with nary a whimper, is soooo smooth! I'm no longer tired at the end of a long drive, I put about 100 miles a day on my car, so the diesel is most welcome, although the acceleration is a little slower than I'm used to, I can certainly get used to it. As I tell my teenage son, it's about style, not speed, eh? Well, I just wanted to say Hi to all, and say that I finally understand what all the fuss is about! I love it!!!
