I am not new to the M-B cars (I have a few) But I decided to join after picking up a nice 02 CLK 430 Vert and the dealer spoke highly of this site.

The car of th elegence who purchased should be referred to as a drophead, vert are for Chevy's vette's etc. You elegent drophead coupe is a beautiful car by the way. and Welcome

 

A convertible Corvette is called a roadster, as are all convertible sports cars.

 

first thing i thought it was corvette. but now i think it's convertible.

 

There were two dealers that said to check this site out. First Hoehn M-B in Carlesbad Ca and secondly Flamingo Auto Group in San Diego. Both very good places to go to. The Flamingo guys had a nice collection of Brabus and AMG cars for sale.

As far as vert goes. It is more of a San Diego term for a convertable (sorry if I offended anyone) Drophead does not belong on a german car it is soley a english term as in 61 Jaguar 3.8 drop head coupe. Roadster can be split between American and Some English. I guess the proper wording would have been, 2002 CLK 430 Cabriolet. I stand corrected
