Default New Guy

New member from the sunny south (FL.) I have a 1986 190e. and I'm joining this group to help and be helped only because I've heard that this is the best forum that there is. So let talk Mercedes Benz what a car never seen a car so well built. I never really cared for them till one day got a really great deal on one and just after doing the breaks i have a whole new respect for thisgerman auto maker. 190e is the easiest car I have ever worked on however the most exspensive. I still have bugs to work out and thats why I am here.
problem #1- Rough idle at cold, I've read diffrent stories
#2- When it sit still and get a little hot when you go to take of it sparkknocks and hesitates
#3- The ac blowerturns off and on like it is possessed, open the door it comes on close it goes of, key on its on start car it goes off.
oh theres more were this came from but my guess is that somehow some of this is connected in some way
Mercedes Forum can you please help
I have learned that the vacumn hoses are a big part of the problems with these cars and fortunatly there is not alot of them so i have replaced most of them and it has made a big diffrents in the run of the car
