I just bought an '87 300sdl, it's in flawless condition with 227k miles on the clock. It runs and drives great, theres really only a couple of concerns I have:
-The transmission shifts rough at times, what are some warning signs that its on its way out?
-I plan on putting in a new cd player/speakers (my car has no radio to speak of whatsoever) but I cant find the speaker sizes anywhere, does anyone know?
-Is it normal for the oil pressure to read high (almost 3 bars while im driving)?
And lastly, I know high revs are bad for a diesel, where should I try to keep the rpm at? It seems pretty happy between 2-3k...
