Hello, Just found the forum today, I not new to MB family, they are one of the best cars made.
Just purchased a 1999 C230 Kompressor, we are moving up from a 1984 190E, which was crashed about a month ago, my wife T-boned a pick-up truck at about 50mph, never saw it cutting accross traffic on US 1, totaled my MB, walked away from wreck with seat belt sores (ribs & shoulder). I believe the car saved her from serious injury. Mercedes does very well in crashes even a car that old.

I am a little dissapointed with the new cars ride, the 190's ride was much smoother, maybe because it was broken in, but it only had 120k on it?

I've seen many MBs that saved people from serious injuries. '99 C230 is still a great car. Congratulations on your new vehicle!

 

One thing about Benz's is the engineering is excellent. I'm glad you're wife was able to walk away from such a wreck. Congrats on your new C230 as well!
