New on board with possible '64 220s
Well.... I have the opportunity to get a 1964 220S in pretty decent shape so during my search for info on rear seat upholstery I found this site.
I am going to need some help! I was looking for a classic American car but I can't pass up the deal on this '64 Benz, or should I? If it's to costly to repair the seats, dash, and carbs I may have to pass. What saith the masses?

I can't pass up on a 1965 220 s
So I see none of the masses responded to this thread! Did you keep the car? I can't pass up getting a 1965 that has been in a garage since 1988! Any news on your situation?
