Hello all,

My wife and I are in the process of buying an 84 300SD. Runs great. Has some minor cosmetic issues inside and out. I have a 85 Toyota Land cruiser with a Toyota 3B diesel, so I am not new to slow but bullet proof diesels.

Looking for any thoughts on first things I might want to do. Obviously new filters and fluids all around.

Where do I post questions regarding general repair issues not diesel related?

Is a transmission cooler something that others have done? Or is it not needed on these cars?
