I purchased a nice 1985 MB 280SL which was not a USA export. The pink slip has non-usa car printed on it. I am trying to find a english service manual but I was told that the MB 380SL is the imported version of the 280SL. Can anyone confirm this for me. I would like to purchase a complete restoration seal kit to replace all the rubber on the body...windshield, door pillars, trunk etc....

Will a 380 SL repair manual which is in english work for my car.
