Little back-story. Had a Jeep Wrangler, lifted, goodies on it, etc. Loved it. Wanted to get a "family" car, so I got a Cadillac SRX. Thing has 76,000 miles on it, and I was ready to tear my hair out from the constant breaking of every part you could think of. V8 was knocking like crazy etc. And according to the computer, I was getting an average of 15.4 MPG in it (premium)

I know my new car will need premium, but the gas mileage on the C230 "Kompressor" sold me.

4-door, really nice, 45k miles on it, and it's an 05'

I was looking for more jeeps, 04-06's because that's the body style etc. I liked, and the prices are steep because they hold their value, and lifting it etc. just gets costly quick.... not sure I wanted to give up all the creature comforts I grew accustomed to in the Cadillac either!

Either way, I've got a Mercedes now, and I hope it treats me well. The reviews I've read have been pretty favorable, and more importantly I'm out of that car that gave me so many problems! (and looked like a mini-van!)

I have an 08 C230 with 36k on it and love it,so far no problems other than a stuck seat belt which dealer replaced for free and rear tires wearing out.
