Matte Black?
Hey Everybody,
Newbie to this forum and to Mercedes ownership :-) Just purchased a CLK200 2 months ago and loving every minute so far :-) does anyone have any thoughts on spraypainting it matte black?Any expereince with Plasti dip sprays?

plasti dip is actually really easy to keep clean... the problem is that if you get ANY chips in it... it'll start to peel all away... so you would either just have to pull it all off and do it again... or just deal with the chips until it starts to pull up on its own....
a matte car isn't that difficult to maintain, but you can only really use a soft sponge and soap water... better to use dawn than car wash liquid in my experience...
but you do have to wash it more often, or like stated, it'll hold a lot of dirt... it's easier to get away with a dirty gloss car then a dirty matte car
