Changed my high beam bulbs on my E350 2009. It was next to impossible to get to them. I would like to change the lows, but these seem to be impossible to get to. Is there a way of doing this, without removing the bumper?

 

Aren't the rears of the headlights accessible via a back plate/cover of some sort?

 

You are correct. There are back plates.
The problem is, they are out of reach.
Framing of the car makes the back plates slightly visable,
but next to impossible to access them.
