let me introduce myself
hi guys,
My name is Hugo. I drive a MY 1998 Saffron Volvo V70R AWD auto.
It an absolute blast to drive. lots of power and great handling. The downside is that its 95% FWD and an auto. I'm looking for something a little more thrilling and more track specific.
So i got my mind set on an old 190 2.3 16v.
I hope you guys have the information i'm looking for.
My knowledge of turbo tuned engines is pretty good, my knowledge of the 2.3 16v is minimal, so expect a lot of questions
So u want to know stuff about volvo, just ask me
Cheers,
Hugo
OH, btw. I'm from Belgium. couldn't find a proper benz forum in Dutch =)

RE: let me introduce myself
Lots of power and a great handling station wagon? That sounds almost like an oxymoron.
Anyway, a member here just opened a Dutch MB site. He posted the info within the last week or so. Do some searches.

'55 Bel Air
I once owned a '56 Bel Air. You brought back some good memories...drive-ins, True Tone mufflers, AM radios, wind up windows, clear vinyl seat covers, an engine that a driver could work on. Thanks.

... "wing" windows, high-beam foot switch on the floor, real spare tires...
I had a '66 Corvette when I was really young. I could plant my feet on the ground while I stood between the exhaust manifold and the wheel well. I can't put a piece of paper down though there in my '01.
