Just bought a 99 c230 Kompressor. Im very impress with the car so far. it is a joy to drive.
Im tyring to change all the oils and air filters and I cant find the cabin air filter.
Also is there anything i should maintance on this car that you guys knowother then what im doing.

 

Welcome to the forum nice choice of car! Do not forget the fuel filter its often over looked (i even forget sometimes when i get another car) I am not sure where the cobin filter is on a c230 ask that question under the c-class forum u might get a better response.

 

I almost forgot about the fuel filter. thnx for the reminder are added to my shopping list.

 

The cabin air filter is located under the glove compartment.
Remove the cover under the glove compartment.
Also to make it easy remove the vent on the center column near the foot area. The screws there need to turn only 90 deg.
Get the Bosch filter with activated charcoal. It isbetter than just plain paper filter and costs almost the same.
