im mazz an i live in swindon.

i myself dont drive a merc but there are 2 in the family
one is a 1997 AMG kompressor, that was got this crimbo just gone for my dad as a prezzie.
the other, which is the main reasion i looked for an joined a merc forum is a 1978 200D
(which i belive was the first merc sold by dick lovitt in swindon)
Untill not so long ago it belonged to my grandad, who sadly passed away in november.
its still in our family, we are the orignal owners an have paper work for everything.
but due to age rust is getting the better of it
about 2 years ago we had roughly £800 of body work done to fix it,
its also on its 2nd engine due to the old one catching fire.
the car was first only used once a year to drive to and from italy then as the years went on it was used every day an still is now.
but looking under the car its not a good site, an so the car will be coming off the road to be restored.
so loads of help an advice and also do you guys do shows an events?
cos once the work is doen it would b great to take her along to one

yeah thanks it was brigher when it was new, i thnk wih age its dulled, oh well. good excuess for a respray me thinks
