Hey to start off, my name is katie, im 18, and i have a 1998 c230.

I've definitely had my fair share of problems with my car, and now I have another one!

One day about two weeks ago i started my car, and it halfway started, then it shut off. I tried again right after, and it had the same problem. The third time i turned the key, my car started. I had no problem up until a couple days ago where i started my car... it fully started, but right after it shut off.

Has anyone else had this problem before? My car drives perfectly fine, so i am hoping that it isnt something too serious...

Can anyone help???

 

so, a young driver with a starting problem.

i think it is the ignition switch.

the contacts inside it or the connector behind.

it can be another problem too. have it checked by a good mechanic who never cheat a little girl.
