Hello people...I am a new member on here...I am lucky enough to own 2 Mercs, I have a 1999 S Class 320 and a 2001 CLK 320. They are both Chalcedony Blue, the CLK is very rare in this colour, there are only a handful of them in the UK. I hope to have some interesting times on here, I am always willing to meet new friends...

 

Well come to the Forum! I just recently went back to having only one Mercedes. Which one do u like better the I-6 320 or the V6 320?

 

I don't know what the I 6-320 is...you must be a real Merc buff :-) but both mine are the V6's. The S Class 320 is perfect for mebecause I was a little concerned about fuel consumption in the V8s. I did look at a 430 but decided that it would be too much of a guzzler. I only use the S at the weekends to transport my family, wife and 3 children!! My wife drives the CLK. I am really happy with them so far.

I am looking for a Nokia 6310 phone so I can make use of the phone system in the car which is also connected to the multi function steering wheel. I have the cradle in the car. I f I cannot find a decent phone then I shall just have to remove the cradle and use a normal phone with bluetooth and not use the steering wheel functions.

 

Is ur 1999 S320 aW140 or a W220? U being from the UK i think they started the W220 in 99 and in the US the 1999 was the W140 still which has the I-6 which means inline

 

Now we are talking the same language! Mine is a W220 and I also know what inline is... :-)
