Default Help on Identifying a mercedes

Hey guys, could you help me identify what model this car is? Maybe tell me a little about it if you have experience with it? Ive only got one picture, but I may be able to get more in the near future.

Thanks in advance

its an older E class a 124 chassis . cant tell what motor is in it, cant see the badge. but they were pretty good cars and ride really nice when taken care of. if its a 300e or e320 they did have head gasket issues, usually just oil leaking from the front lip seal and also the right rear of the head. also wiring harness deterioration problems depending on the year of the car. id like to have a 124 chassis in a 420 or a 500 motor.

Can't tell what year that car was made but the W124 model was made from approx. 86 to 97+- depending on the model; some wagons and convertibles started and stopped earlier.
I owned a 1989 260E (smaller engine) but there were also 300E models(most popular) that year. I also owned a 300E in 1993 which was when there was a facelift and I believe an engine change. Trim levels and technology improved over the years. Without seeing the plate on the door frame and the left rear of the car there is no way to tell what year / model you have in your pic.
Depending on where the car is, it could be one of a multitude of models and engines from diesel to V8. The body stayed basically the same.
