Hey there everyone. Just purchased a 78 280 SE with 70000 original miles on it. Got a great deal. Thought this site would help me out when I have questions. This is a nice car, but I've had no experience whatsoever working on them. This car sat for a long time (nearly ten years)and runs good, just needs a fuel pump and tires. The entire fuel system has been disassembled and cleaned but the pump runs for a while and then quits. Can't complain for the price. The wife is anxious for me to get this thing running for her.
