Hi, new member here. I live on the Isle of Man, middle of the Irish Sea between England and Ireland. Cold, wet and miserable for about 7 months of the year, a bit like Northern California sometimes, only we get fog with 40mph winds too! I have just got a '99 SLK230, in silver, together with a couple of models of the same for my kids to get the "roof workings" enthusiasm out of them.

I am a pilot and ride motorbikes when ever I can, rain and shine. This is my new toy, to replace a Citroen Saxo VTS, a small hot hatch with 1.6litre 16valve twin cam motor and racy handling. Nice to have a car that doesn't fall apart like the Saxo did.
