My name is Dave and I recently bought an 88 300E. Its a gasser with 240,000 miles and still runs very strong.

An issue Im having sounds concerning so help me if you can.
There is a clicking sound coming from the front right as if its front wheel drive and the joints are going out. (a problem Iv had on a previous car) It doesnt seem to change with speed, isnt there continuously, is most common around 35mph and is as annoying as winter! Any info would be appreciated.
