Default Greetings from Panama

Hello all.I just found this forum through a google search. Had my MB for about 2 months now. It's a 2000 C28 Sport. Have done the typical repairs to it. The LCAB, &
BJ & typical tune up. Not much planned for it right now, as we are in the process of getting a house built.
All I have is a 8" bass tube( I had it laying around, so why not) & a sony HU(GT-805DX) i'm going to put in it, as son as my antenna adapter gets here from
crutchfield. Other than that i'm only doing some cosmetic work( well fixing a ripped DS armrest).
I am the 2nd owner & know the original owner. The car has been very well taken care of & I have ALL recipts for it. The car was old & he just got tired of it. He custom orderd a few things for it. The rims are original to the car. As you see it is how it came from the factory. I love it & do not want to change the look much if at all(body wise).
Well thats about it for now. Not much you can say about a stock mercedes.

Here are a few photos. I need to get some updated ones once I get a chance(too much rain & not a real god chance to ge tthe car clean).
These were taken last month & when I first got it in May.

welcome Espresso.

the car seems to be AMG.

was the weather in your place not very friendly to the car's interior? seems you need a new floormat too.

the car looks very nice and in mint condition from outside.

Here in Panama, the weather is pretty much..rain, rain & ..more rain. The roads are horrible & cars do not rack up alot of mileage(except the taxi's). This car has 84,000 miles(just over 140,000km).
So a 6 year old mercedes with high mileage is virtually unsellable. People that have the cash, just get new. I have the cash, but didnt feel like having a car payment so I just dropped $12K on this & called it a day. No car payment & it still has a warranty...I'm alright with that. I know it will last a long time. The owner decided to get rid of ti 7 buy new because he didnt want the troubles with an older car(it didnt really have any but it's just the lack of factory warranty & such), BUT he knew it wasnt going to go to just anyone.
Like I said. I am going to do a little to it. But what it came out of the factory with is plenty for me these days. Since day one the car came from the "factory" is that even with the ASR on it cannot keep traction. On dry roads & at speed this car is a beast. But at a start on wet..forget it, up until about 60km or so.

Yes, the car was a bit dirty. But as explained about the weather, it is actually in very nice shape. Yes, the floormats suck. I do not even have the drivers in right now, because it folds up near the gas peddle. Ther than the rip & the mats though, it is in damn nice shape. The seats & all look factory new.
Not sure how they do at the Mercedes dealers in the states, but here. Every 3-4 months when in for maintenance. It gets a FULL bumper to bumper detail & they let yo uknow if they find anything on the car that wasnt there last time( they document the cars condition on every service..scratches, dings, scrapes, ect..)
