Default Greetings All!

Hi folks - am a newbie here, but not to other MB fora. Am a fairly recent convert to MB, haven driven VWs most of my life. Bought a W201 for my then-High School aged daughter and the thing was a very impressive piece of machinery for being (then-17, now 20 years old.) Always wanted a wagon, and picked up a super sweet 94 18 months ago. I am totally hooked. Now I am afraid I have the "diesel bug" and I am looking at adding to the fleet with an old W123 wagon that is nice enough to take a near-perfect factory rebuiltmotor and tranny I have found. There certainly are a lot of ways to spend money on these things, eh? Oh yeah, I'm in the DC metro area, in suburban Maryland.

Hello from Mount Airy, MD and welcome to the site! I think diesel bugs must be common here, all 3 of us are from MD and have diesels. Coincidence? I think not
